Entry One
A song lyric that I enjoyLana Del Rey - Summetime Sadness
❝ Think I'll miss you forever
Like the stars miss the sun in the morning sky
Later's better than never
Even if you're gone, I'm gonna drive (drive), drive ❞
I like that song for the reason that the song has a slow rythm. This part of the song has a poetic meaning, it shows the emptiness of beeing alone without the one that she loves (the author of the song).

Entry Two
But I heard
on the playground
this year’s bánh ch ng,
eaten only during Tét,
will be smeared in blood.
In this part of the book, we have line breaks, that slows the reader down when he's reading.

Entry Three
If I could only pack one of my things to bring it with me, I would pack one of my oldest toys, a Garfield plush, that my grandad gave me when I was 5. This plush has always been with me. The plush it's soft as a cloud.

Entry Four
A dish that has a special meaning for me is Tang Yuan. Tang Yuan it's a very special food for me, because it’s a festive treat, and in my family we just eat it once a year, during the Chinese Lantern Festival, a festival during the full moon . It is a traditional food that we usually cook in family. It's made with glutinous rice and the filing it's usually made by black sesame or red beans. You can experience a simple pleasure when you taste it. They seem to be glossy and it has a slippery and chewy texture and it's pretty luscious. I feel really happy when I eat it.
